Of Scapegoats and Scrambled Eggs

We watched as 'Untouchable Omelet' was 'arraigned',
But the recent 'scramble' had left much 'changed'
So I sit back and take a sip of tea,
Observing and listening to this fascinating story
It began with no apparent hurry,
The crowd impatient for a quick flurry
Then suddenly dance beat was struck
As Music stopped, Cat ran out of luck
Scales have tipped to a balancing feat,
The weight knocks out Scapegoat's teeth
No legs to flee with,
No mouth to beg or plea with
Some will now start running a-skelter,
While the wise had since secured equity as shelter
The gong strikes twelve,
But men will always delve
Is it not enough a lesson,
A building crushing its mason
Who knowingly built,
With too much silt
For castle of sand,
Is like smoke puffed
Off-hand
