Inception

Have you ever had a dream within a dream, Inception
For scarce does Reality grant us what we envision
Yet you see I've finally met my Maiden of Distinction
M'lady Hope is a charmed beauty of uncommon precision
Sculpted and chiseled of all imperfection
But anyway that's not part of the narration
You see before meeting the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Inspiration
The seemingly fair, Lady Despair, had been playing with my emotions
The Enchanter she was, carried no blame for our altercation
Her parents: Madam Desire and Messr Desperation
Had made promise of solemnization
Alas uknown to our cognition
Miss Bride Tobe aka Lady Despair, was a false impression
Luckily, Mr. Providence the High Priest of Salvation
Had witnessed Lady Despair's attempt at despoliation
He had waded into the matter with his Lordship Judge Time for remediation
And so it was no coincidental situation
That Mr. Providence would be the one to introduce me to Lady Hope on the one condition
That I treat her as befitting of Royalty and her High Station
I and Hope have since gone far in our relation
And we intend to use the absence of Mr. & Mrs. Problem Friction
To get married and fulfill our Honeymoon intention
We'll spend some time in Successistan and Serenistan as we envisioned
To enjoy the splendor and grandeur of this Vision
Before returning home to Blissland our Dear Nation
I pray you will join in our celebration

A Midnight Encounter

You see when it starts to rain, the soul that luvs the rain lights up with an electric fervor! . I close my eyes and listen to the musical lyrics of raindrops drumming upon the rooftop, which pours down the drains. . I sit against the windows and watch countless slates slash against the pane and flashes of lightening streak across the reddened midnight sky. And then... . POW! CRACKOW! A blasting blare of thunder makes me shudder, almost jumping out of fright. . And then gradually the rumbling rolls away like a cartwheel leaving me with the sound of dripping raindrops like a collection of pattering feet tapdancing. .
