Komai wataran wucewa zaiyi
Babu abu madawwami
Ko wahala ko jin dadi!
Don haka dauki rayuwa da sauki
Ka huta ma kanka tararradi

Dama duniya shi
Zuwa mukai zaman wucin gadi
Chan 'Gidan' mukewa tanadi
Muna ta kokarin yin guzuri
Kafin lokaci yayi mu tattara mu tafi

Ba wai neman 'duniya bai da amfani
Bal, kar dai ya dauke mana hankali
Mu zam tamkar 'bayi' a wurinshi
Son zuciyarmu ya zam linzami
Ya batar da mu a dokar daji

Mas'tada'a shine saiti
Dace shine a sami wadatar zuci
Ba yabo, ba fallasar asiri
Wannan shi zai kaimu ga gachi
Allah Ya tabbatar mana da alkhairi!

Everything is for a time
Nothing lasts forever
Suffering or Bliss
So take life easy
And be relieved of its pressure

This world is a transit point
We came for a brief stay
It is the other 'Home' we prepare for
Awaiting for the time to packup and leave

Not to say we should shun this world
But let it not distract us
And allow not 'means' to become 'end'
Or surrender to our heart's vain desires

Balance is key
Contentment means success
Neither 'over' or 'under'
Will see us to the 'Promised Land'
May Allah grant us His Blessings.

A Midnight Encounter

You see when it starts to rain, the soul that luvs the rain lights up with an electric fervor! . I close my eyes and listen to the musical lyrics of raindrops drumming upon the rooftop, which pours down the drains. . I sit against the windows and watch countless slates slash against the pane and flashes of lightening streak across the reddened midnight sky. And then... . POW! CRACKOW! A blasting blare of thunder makes me shudder, almost jumping out of fright. .
