Stations, Roads and Seasons

You see I always find stations - train, bus, airports and seaports - fascinating, because they depict the reality of how life is. Arrivals and departures, the never-ending hustle and bustle, regardless of what happens to individual travelers: life.goes.on!

Again, take something like roads. There are so many of them; each with their final destinations, or not! Some are just circles that cycle round bringing you back to where you started. Like an old, old man that's back to the state of infancy when he could actually do nothing for himself. This,...after possessing the height and might of life!

Another is seasons. Each with their uniqueness, seeming eternal, promising to last with their utter, outer vividness. The rains and greens would make you forget...until barrenness and desolation set in. And every year the seasons never fail to do this see-saw if only to make us learn that nothing is permanent in life.

Much to ponder, much to learn in the gift of consciousness we've been given.
