flowers bloom
colors compete
in vivid display ...
and green emerges victorious
amid the burst
comes life
and paradise is born
and nothing completes the scene
like fluttering fluff of feathers
singing sweet songs
and bees buzzing busily
between blooming beauties
fragrant fulfilling scents
while swish-swashing streams of water
gurgle, gush and glide
racing running rivulets
fully flowing forth
for everything wears a smile
upon return of spring

A Midnight Encounter

You see when it starts to rain, the soul that luvs the rain lights up with an electric fervor! . I close my eyes and listen to the musical lyrics of raindrops drumming upon the rooftop, which pours down the drains. . I sit against the windows and watch countless slates slash against the pane and flashes of lightening streak across the reddened midnight sky. And then... . POW! CRACKOW! A blasting blare of thunder makes me shudder, almost jumping out of fright. .
