One Moment

Like a leaf detached from a stem I drop to the ground and I'll be swept away in the heap of dead leaves and be forgotton

Like the passing cloud that forms an image I'll be dispersed in an instance, when the breeze and Sun make their entrance

Like the ripples in water swimming to the banks countless, unidentifiable fading into oblivion

Like the desert tracks buried in moments by blankets of sand that are like the skin of our bodies

Like the rain dropping single yet inseparably pouring in torrents

One moment we are, and the next gone.
