Borrowed

You see everything is borrowed. Borrowed clothes, shoes, and all the innumerable possesions of life.  . Heck even time is borrowed and we're paying it back, by second, minute, hour and day until they pile up to weeks, months and years and then the reaper arrives to balance out.  . Ultimately, this life is borrowed. Just a brief stint here on earth which is no more than a reverie on a 15-minute ride home which ends even before it has begun.  Haidarwali 202212140703hrs

Blink Absence

Rapt attention has lost you. Random thoughts have stolen you away.  Wish I could gift you concentration.  Staring glassy-eyed, caged in a trance. I reach to pull you out of vortex. Slowly swallowed like in quicksand.  Then suddenly - snap - you return from reverie.  One moment as if eternity passed In a blink gone, then right back again.  .  Haidarwali 201612022236hrs
