Haidar's Corner

I remember, it was a cold rainy day in August, the clouds had descended like an armada and the hail of showers poured down relentlessly. I huddled in the corner of where I had taken shelter, shivering and staring down the empty streets which had no soul in sight. . After what seemed like an eternity, I felt the downpour begin to subside and just as if on cue, the envelope of the dark skies was pierced by sunlight and the canopy of clouds began to scatter like scared dogs sighting a hyena. .  Before long, a cool wet breeze was all that remained and one by one, bodies began to emerge from their refuge, resuming the theatre of the outdoors! .  Haidarwali 202106190611hrs
